The healing techniques below can be used on children of all ages, meaning that unless otherwise noted, these tools can be administered to anyone from young to distinguished.  As always please use with caution.

Bouncing Technique

Please view the above link for a video clip on two techniques that will help your children fall asleep. They are quick and easy and my kids love them.  Some precautions are that you are to bounce your child softly and gently, have the child lay flat, and if the child has any medical issues please use with caution, or not at all. This is to be used for only several seconds at a time and NEVER in excess. Please follow the instructions on the video clip.

Cosmic Eyes
Another nightly activity that works wonders is what I refer to as the "Cosmic Eye Routine."  When your child is laying down in their bed you hold your index and middle fingers together and wave them back and forth in a side-to-side motion about a foot to a foot and a half in distance and do about 15 repetitions in about a 15 second period (about a second for each back and forth motion).

The parents hands should be about 2 feet away from the childs face while the fingers are in motion and the child needs to follow the movement of the fingers, so that his/her eyes are moving back and forth as well, while keeping their head straight.

Wave your fingers for about 15 seconds and then stop, have the child blink one or two times and then do the motion again for another 15 seconds with blinking after the time frame. Several sets of this routine can be administered and you should see your child's eyes getting more and more sleepy.
I would recommend that if you use this technique on young babies, they should be at least one year old.

Illustrated below are some of the E.F.T. (Emotional Freedom Technique) tapping points that I have used and have had great success with on myself, my children and my clients (see the Testimonials Page).

E.F.T. is a new type of healing tool that has been termed "energy psychology" and is still in the experimental stages and needs to used with caution, more information can be found at www.emofree.com. It has greatly helped my children, my clients, my friends and myself with insomnia, ADD, anger, saddness, and many other negative emotions.
In short E.F.T. helps to reduce the anxiety with a specific issue.

The strategy is to use your fingertips to lightly tap on the specified locations while saying a statement that addresses the issue but also has a positive ending affirmation.

One can use this technique on themselves or their children. If it is used on a child the parent/adult lightly taps 7-10 times, on these locations with the fingertips and at the same time states a phrase.

Examples of statements include:
"Even though I have a headache, I completely love and accept myself."
"Even though I'm afraid of the dark, I completely love and accept myself."
"Even though I have a runny nose, I completely love and accept myself."
"Even though I can't sleep, I completely love and accept myself."
"Even though I'm too excited, I completely love and accept myself."
"Even though I don't understand, I'm a good kid and love myself."

The statements are to be short and simple. The statement is to be repeated at every location (figures 1-2) show below.  One can decide to go through all the locations more than once and you can contact me for more detailed instructions and guidance through the process.
